Anaïs Nin was a French-Cuban American diarist, essayist, novelist, and writer of short stories and erotica and my first introduction into the feminist movement in the 1970ies. My college required that I read Children of the Albatross, imagine as a 17-year-old being awakened to a bohemian world and lifestyle. I was hooked. Anais Nin has been one of the most influential females in my life on a multiple of levels. As far as I am concerned, every line of her writings is a quote. I invite you to explore her work and especially her quotes.
“We write to taste life twice, in the moment and in retrospect.”
― Anais Nin
